Welcome to “Fryers Places”
Many people give to charity and receive little or no recognition.
“Fryers Places” are friends of proventus.org.uk. They help Proventus in many ways.
Some by providing a source of income, others by providing physical help, others by giving their time.
These are the silent public majority, they do not run marathons, jump out of planes, swim the channel, they do not sit in expensive rented offices while being paid a handsome wage as do some CEO’s.
They are not celebrities, you do not read about them in newspapers or see them on television.
Without these people the charity world and health system would grind to a halt.
They are called ‘VOLUNTEERS’
I live in Ashford Kent with my wife, we are surrounded by our children and grandchildren.
At the age of 73 I am retired and along with others, I devote some of my time to voluntary charity work.
I am the secretary for Proventus, a small charity group, the majority of the group are affected by a neurological or autoimmune disease.
Proventus is dedicated to researching and providing freely information to sufferers of
neurological, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases .
These pages acknowledge the generous efforts made by people in support of others who are less fortunate.
